In short: the QR code generator runs entirely inside your browser. The text, passwords, payment IDs, contacts, and images you enter are processed on your device and are never sent to, seen by, or stored on our servers.

1. Who we are

QR Mudra ("we", "us") operates the website qrmudra.com, a free online QR code generator. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@qrmudra.com.

2. The data you enter never leaves your device

All QR codes are generated locally in your web browser using JavaScript. This means:

• The content you type — URLs, WiFi passwords, UPI IDs, contact details, messages, locations, wallet addresses — is not transmitted to our servers or to any third party by the generator.
• Logo images you upload are read and rendered locally in your browser and are not uploaded anywhere.
• We do not use cookies, local storage, or any other mechanism to retain what you enter. When you close the tab, it is gone.
• If you use the "Use my current location" feature, your browser will ask for permission and the coordinates are used only to fill the form on your screen. They are not sent to us.

3. Information collected automatically

Like virtually all websites, when you load the page our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the date and time of your visit, and the page requested. This information is used only for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the site running, and is retained only as long as our hosting provider's standard log retention period.

4. Advertising and analytics

We may display advertisements (for example through Google AdSense) and/or use analytics services to understand overall site traffic. These third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies and may collect information such as your IP address and pages visited, in accordance with their own privacy policies:

• Google's advertising and analytics practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google at adssettings.google.com.

Where required by law (for example, for visitors from the European Union), we will show a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set, and you may refuse or withdraw consent at any time.

5. Legal bases and your rights

For visitors in jurisdictions with data protection laws (including the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), the limited technical data described above is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website, or with your consent where consent is required (e.g. advertising cookies).

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not maintain user accounts and do not store the content you enter, in most cases we hold no personal data about you beyond transient server logs. 6. Children

QR Mudra is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not require any personal information to use the service.

7. The QR codes you create

QR codes generated with QR Mudra are static: the data is encoded directly into the image on your device. We have no record of what codes were created, cannot track scans of them, and cannot disable or modify a code after you download it. You are solely responsible for the content you encode and for any personal data of others (for example, in a vCard) that you choose to include.

8. Data security

The site is served over HTTPS. Since the generator processes your content only on your device, the most effective security measure — never collecting your data in the first place — is built into the design.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be indicated on this page.
